Earth: our small blue planet—the pearl in the universe.
A few years ago, I kept a blog called Small Blue Pearls that was about Ashtanga yoga. It was my way of trying to understand and integrate the lens of yoga into my life. The first ten years of practice were exciting and hard and I needed a way to process all the new information and worldview and language. Once it became firmly rooted, I found I no longer needed to talk about it as much, so I retired the blog.
Now I'm trying to understand and integrate astrology into my daily life in much the same way, and so I've resurrected the name because it seems so perfect for this system too: earth — our precious small blue pearl.
Who's Loo?
For more than 30 years I've sought out professional astrologers to help me understand my own life. In the fall of 2016 I took the next step and enrolled in the Portland School of Astrology where I'm currently in my second year. I also study with private with tutors and use my own Plutonian-powered obsessiveness (Pluto conjunct the Ascendant, trining the natal Sun) to learn as much as I can.
Leave me a comment or a question and I'll try to answer it as best as I can. Thanks for being here.
In case you're curious: I'm a Capricorn Sun, Virgo Rising, Scorpio Moon.
